Port Aventura avoids strike and will be able to celebrate its 30th anniversary with its visitors

Port Aventura workers have called off the two-day strike planned for May 1 and 2 after reaching an agreement with the company that manages the park. The UGT and CCOO unions have ratified the pact. According to the workers in a statement, the negotiations have culminated in “substantial improvements” in both wages and working hours. The Department of Business and Employment of the Generalitat has mediated the negotiations between the two parties.
