In response to public feedback, the town of Pictou passed first reading of an amendment to their Off-Road Vehicle Bylaw. The amendment would allow licenced OHVs on all town streets for one year as a pilot project, with riders required to follow the rules of the road as set out in the Road Trails Act. The public can share their feedback with council or town staff before the second reading, scheduled for next month’s regular meeting.
