PERRY HALL, MD—The Perry Hall High School girls’ soccer team won the 4A state championship on Saturday, November 15, by defeating Bethesda-Chevy Chase 3-2 in overtime. Gabriela Colon scored the “golden goal” in the first overtime period to secure the victory. The team secured their spot in the final by winning a semifinal match against Leonardtown on penalty kicks.
