- The Department of Defense named 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, and Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, with the 103rd Sustainment Command in Des Moines, Iowa.
- U.S. military investigators said the attack is under investigation, Central Command reported at least five troops were seriously wounded, and President Donald Trump was expected to brief Congress Tuesday.
- Local communities and Iowa leaders mourned Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, West Des Moines native and Drake University student, after his death in the Iran conflict on Tuesday.
