Palestinians slam US removal of radical Jewish group from terror blacklist

Summary by Ground News
The Palestinian Authority condemned a decision by the US State Department to remove the Jewish extremist group Kach from its list of terrorist organizations. The extremist group was founded by the late Rabbi Meir Kahane in 1971. It supports violent attacks on Palestinians and called for their expulsion from Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. It was designated a terrorist group by the State Department in 1997 after one of its supporters, Baruch Goldstein, massacred 29 Palestinians at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron in 1994.
