OWLS accepts Christmas trees for wildlife

The Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter is taking decoration-free natural Christmas trees to help orphaned and injured animals. Trees can be dropped off 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day through Tuesday, Jan. 10. Trees are being stacked in the parking lot by the back gate at the facility.
