Authorities have just dismantled three new malware programs. A large-scale operation, coordinated by Europol and stemming from the Endgame initiative, neutralized three viruses, including a data thief and a botnet. More than 1,000 malicious servers were taken down and hundreds of thousands of computers were freed from the clutches of hackers.
Europol's Endgame operation, in which France is involved in particular, has again hit more than 1,025 cybercriminal servers that have been dismantled in recent days. Hundreds of thousands of infected computers were involved worldwide.
The Frankfurt Public Prosecutor's Office and the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), together with international partners, have struck again. This time, they targeted Rhadamanthys, one of the world's most dangerous malware stealers, as well as the remote access Trojan VenomRAT.
