Old and new stars paint very different pictures of the Triangulum Galaxy

Summary by Ground News
Triangulum galaxy has two drastically different structures depending on the age of the stars. At about 61,000 light years across, Triangulum is the third-largest galaxy in our local group, after Andromeda and our own Milky Way. Younger, massive stars are distributed in a very different pattern than older, redder stars.
