Officer Shoots Man in Attempted Stabbing on Long Island: SCPD

CENTEREACH, LONG ISLAND, JUL 13 – The attacker returned to assault his stabbing victim again, prompting police to shoot and kill him; the victim is expected to survive, Suffolk County Police said.
