NYC Council introduces resolution to undo school budget cuts it had approved

Summary by Ground News
The resolution asks Mayor Adams to add $469 million back into the Education Department's budget. The council voted to approve a $215 million cut to school budgets in June. The resolution claims that the original trim was supposed to remove only $132 million directly from school budgets, and eliminate only teaching positions that were already vacant.
