- Norwegian Cruise Line announced on May 5, 2025, from Miami that it will award 20 deserving teachers with free three- or four-day cruises as part of the Norwegian's Giving Joy campaign during Teacher Appreciation Week.
- The campaign, now in its sixth year, invites public nominations through May 31, 2025, for educators in the U.S. And Canada who have a lasting impact on students through adaptability and creativity.
- A panel of three NCL leaders and partners will evaluate nominations to select 20 teachers for cruises and three grand prize winners who will cruise aboard the soon-to-debut Norwegian Luna on its three-day christening voyage in Spring 2026.
- Norwegian Luna will offer Eastern Caribbean sailings from Miami starting April 2026, visiting destinations including Puerto Plata, Tortola, St. Thomas, and Great Stirrup Cay, which will feature new amenities by late 2025.
- Beyond the campaign, NCL supports educators year-round with a five percent fare discount and $50 onboard credit across its 20-ship fleet, emphasizing its mission to honor communities making a difference.
