Nippon Steel warns of price increases

One of the world's largest steel makers has announced its prices are going to rise – which will directly affect the price of cars and all sorts of white goods, according to Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood. It comes as Japanese steel maker Nippon Steel said it would raise product prices by 30,000-40,000 yen ($USD236-$USD315) a tonne to cushion soaring costs, according to Reuters.
