Montgomery County authorized nearly $2.7 million for youth substance use prevention and $4.9 million total to support health services contracts funded by state, gambling, and settlement sources.

NORRISTOWN – Nearly $4.9 million was authorized by Montgomery County commissioners Thursday to finance nearly a dozen contracts at the sole November meeting. The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services took up the lion’s share of awarded contracts earlier this week, covering substance abuse prevention and youth health care.
