Monsoon moisture will bring scattered storms to Southern Colorado this weekend

SOUTHERN COLORADO, JUL 19 – Monsoon moisture combined with heat will cause scattered afternoon thunderstorms this weekend with highs up to 97 degrees, forecasters said.

Tonight's Forecast:Showers and thunderstorms that have been fairly widespread today in the mountains will drift off of the foothills this evening, with scattered thunderstorms for areas near and just east of I-25.
