The BTR-152K infantry carrier, which was used during the Allied invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968, was acquired by the Military Historical Institute (VHÚ) in Prague as a gift for its collections from the Military Museum in Chisinau, Moldova. The transfer was not an easy task. The whole process took two years. However, the carrier should be operational next year and could appear at the Tank Day in Lešany, Central Bohemia.
