Man found guilty of first-degree murder in Rosedale stabbing case

Summary by Ground News
A Baltimore County judge found James John Marchsteiner III guilty of first-degree murder Tuesday in the stabbing of a blind man in 2021. After a trial that lasted several hours, Circuit Court Judge Vicki Ballou-Watts ruled that the 49-year-old was guilty of premeditated murder. The defense argued that he had a long history of mental health issues that should have reduced his charge to involuntary manslaughter. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
