In Mali, two ORTM journalists, state television, were abducted on Tuesday, 14 October, in the afternoon, near Konna, in the Mopti region, in the centre of the country. This abduction was not claimed, but the Jihadists of Janim, linked to Al-Qaeda, are very active in the area and regularly kidnap men whom they consider to be representatives of the Malian State.
