'Major concern' at shortage of midwife-led services

I write regarding the March with Midwives vigil, which coincided with my son’s first birthday. My son’s birth at Watford General Hospital was a far cry from my wonderful home birth with my daughter in 2017. I will spare you the full details as to why, but it stemmed from the sudden suspension of the home birth service due to staff shortages while I was in the middle of labour.
