Life for knifeman who struck at random in Tesco car park and pub

Danny Whewell, 31, launched the terrifying attacks at random in Immingham. He approached a man in the car park of Tesco, in Kennedy Way, at 2.30pm. CCTV footage from the scene showed the blade "just inches away" from the victim, who ran away. Whewell fled, but 10 minutes later he made his way to the nearby Pelham Hotel in Washdyke Lane and entered the kitchen. He then entered the bar area and came across his second victim. He was observed holding five knives down by his hip area.
