The BBC center in Bangor recently celebrated its 90th birthday, with a special concert in Pontio, Bangor in the company of the BBC National Orchestra. Between 1935 and 1963 the center was led by Sam Jones, who is recognized for developing Bangor into an indispensable Production Center in the history of the BBC in Wales.
