- On Tuesday, Nov. 25, Derrick Salley Jr. announced his commitment to Kansas State Wildcats football after de-committing from the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers 16 days earlier.
- After a campus visit earlier this month, Salley pledged to the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers but also held offers from Illinois, Boise State and Oklahoma State and was pursued by Liberty University, University of North Texas and University of Illinois in recent weeks.
