Over 100 people gathered Sunday afternoon on the front lawn of the Daviess County Courthouse as the recently-formed Grassroots Republicans Of Daviess County hosted a prayer vigil in honor of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

A candlelight prayer vigil has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, at the Historic Courthouse to pray for and honor Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder who was assassinated during an appearance at a university in Utah on Wednesday.
