It’s 70 degrees warmer than normal in eastern Antarctica. Scientists are flabbergasted.

Summary by Ground News
Parts of Antarctica more than 70 degrees (40 degrees Celsius) warmer than average. Areas of the Arctic more than 50 degrees (30 degrees Celsius), also warmer than normal. Experts advise it's not clear whether the record heat is indeed part of climate change. "Not a good sign when you see that sort of thing happen," said University of Wisconsin meteorologist Matthew Lazzara.
