Iranian Missile Strikes Biggest U.S. Air Base in the Middle East, Qatar Says

On Wednesday, March 04, 2026, Israel's military launched a broad wave of strikes on targets in Iran, shortly after midnight a loud explosion was heard in Beirut, AFP journalist said.
After multiple missile barrages, Israel responded with strikes; Iran launched three missile barrages at Israeli territory, and Hezbollah fired rockets early Monday in retaliation for the reported killing of Ali Khamenei.

The United States arranged charter flights from Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to help Americans leave and will secure additional capacity as security allows, while France is sending the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier to the eastern Mediterranean.
Qatar's State Security Service said they dismantled two spy cells linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, arresting 10 suspects who admitted espionage and sabotage roles, seizing communications equipment, data and coordinates.
