Sales of select models of Hyundai Motor’s new Palisade have been suspended following safety controversy sparked in the aftermath of the death of a 2-year-old girl. According to a Reuters report on the 13th (local time), Hyundai Motor suspended sales of some new Palisades in the United States and Canada on that day.

Hyundai Motor Company said it is stopping sales of some new Palisade SUVs in Canada and the United States and will recall tens of thousands of the vehicles over an issue with power seats, following a recent incident in which a two-year-old girl was killed in Ohio.
The company will recall some SUVs of this model in the US and Canada.
