Prime Suspect in AAUA Students’ Murder Dies Mysteriously in Police Custody
ONDO STATE, NIGERIA, JUL 17 – Oladele Femi, the landlord, allegedly planned the abduction and murder of two Adekunle Ajasin University students after one victim identified an attacker, with N800,000 stolen from the male victim's account.
- On June 20, 2025, two AAUA students went missing, they were abducted and later killed allegedly on the landlord’s orders, police said.
- According to police, Femi recruited Ojo Michael and Kola to abduct and rob the students, Okah’s recognition of Michael triggered their execution.
- According to the commissioner, the crime revealed that Eloho Okah was raped, ₦800,000 was stolen from Abah’s account, and bodies were dumped between Agbado and Ode-Ekiti.
- According to police, Femi was arrested and confessed, and police spokesperson Olayinka Ayanlade said he died on Friday in custody.
- Police continue to search for Abah’s remains believed to be dumped in a river, while Adebowale Lawal vowed to arrest Kola and prosecute all suspects.
