Global warming and living things (13) A way to live in forest diversity

Summary
Forests take in atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) by photosynthesis, but their absorption capacity decreases as the number of species that become extinct due to global warming increases. There is a technology to capture CO2 by hand, but it is not comparable to forests. Professor Akira Mori of Yokohama National University and others point out that biodiversity protects the earth.
