The openings of Shein permanent boutiques in five BHV department stores located in the French regions, scheduled for November and December, will be staggered "by a few days or weeks". This is what announced Friday 14 November Frédéric Merlin, boss of the company owning the BHV.
The openings of the Chinese brand Shein are postponed in France. Five stores were to open within the BHV. No new date is announced.
After the outcry over the arrival in Paris of the Chinese ecommerce giant, symbol of the ultra-fast fashion, Frédéric Merlin announced this Friday, 14 November, that the openings scheduled for November and December in Dijon, Reims, Grenoble, Angers and Limoges will not take place, for the moment.
The retailer Shein delivers cheap fashion from China to countries worldwide. The company had planned to expand from purely online to brick-and-mortar retail in France. However, this will not happen, at least for the time being.
