A fox has been rescued after becoming trapped in a garden fence in Lower Kingswood.
It was discovered dangling by its back legs on Smithy Lane at around 7am on Wednesday. The fox was taken to the Wildlife Aid Foundation in Leatherhead for a check-up and will be released into the wild once fully recovered. The RSPCA says people should call for help right away if they see an injured or sick animal but shouldn’t try to touch it themselves.
