- Authorities filed formal complaints and opened investigations, with RGIA police booking cases and involving the Shamshabad police zone and Cyberabad cyber crime wing in the probe.
- Investigators say the emails were routed through VPNs and non-Gmail services, complicating tracing, while a special investigation team will analyse sender IDs and metadata from providers including Outlook.
