Elementary students in Rochester learn the basics of building a school

Students in the district's Summer of Discovery program got a crash course in the basics of designing and building a school. The students were given bags filled with about 50 wooden blocks of different sizes. Each block had a designation written on it to indicate what room it represented: An office, the cafeteria, the gym.
