Announcement - The text of the following statement was released by the Governments of the United States of America, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Rwanda, the State of Qatar, the Republic of Togo (as the African Union mediator), and the African Union Commission on the occasion of the fourth Joint Oversight Committee held this week in Washington, D.C.
The Congolese and Rwandan delegates are scheduled to meet this Friday in Washington. A meeting organized within the framework of the Joint Monitoring Committee, the mechanism responsible for following up on the agreement signed on 27 June, under the auspices of the United States.
