Driver of airborne car says he's 'glad nobody was hurt'

Chandler Cockerham, 25, of Kalamazoo told News Channel 3 he was the person behind the wheel of the black Chevy Impala that went airborne off a US 131 exit ramp last week. Cockerham and News Channel 3's Erica Mokay spoke briefly over the phone Thursday. On Thursday, Jan. 13, Michigan State Police Troopers said Cockerham was traveling south on US 131 at exit 68 when his vehicle veered off the roadway, drove up an embankment, and went airborne.
