School Supplies Savings: Sales Tax Holiday in West Virginia Begins Aug. 1

MULTIPLE U.S. STATES, JUL 10 – Seventeen states provide tax exemptions on school-related items in July and August to help families save amid inflation, with some states offering month-long holidays, the Florida Department of Revenue said.

The West Virginia state sales tax holiday, where shoppers won't have to pay sales tax on items to be used for school, will be Friday, Aug. 1, through Monday, Aug. 4, 2025.
