Man jailed over £1m Rolex and luxury watch fraud
Adam Moore-Lynch used a Ponzi-style scheme to defraud about 45 victims of nearly £1.2 million by selling their high-value watches without paying them, police said.
- A watch dealer who ran a business called Manchester Watch Hub defrauded 50 victims out of more than £1m by selling their high-value watches and keeping the money for himself.
- The 38-year-old defendant Adam Moore-Lynch pleaded guilty to fraud, converting criminal property and carrying out a business with intent to defraud creditors between August 2023 and January 2024.
- Moore-Lynch was sentenced to five years and one month in prison at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday for the fraud involving losses of around £1.2m.
