The US has proposed creating a new advisory body for the Digital Markets Act (DMA) to give a voice to the large tech companies subject to its application. This move comes amid negotiations over a possible trade deal between the EU and the US, according to three sources familiar with the matter, that would prevent the imposition of tariffs by either side. However, the EU will never accept the idea, according to two of these sources.
