- On Feb. 25, Todd Meadows, 25-year-old deckhand and Deadliest Catch cast member, fell overboard from the Aleutian Lady about 170 miles north of Dutch Harbor and died, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
- Captain Rick Shelford confirmed on Monday that Todd Meadows, a 25-year-old from Montesano, Washington, had died after falling overboard on Feb. 25 from the Aleutian Lady, which he joined last May.
- Chief Petty Officer Travis Magee wrote `He was recovered unresponsive by the crew approximately ten minutes later`, and the Aleutian Lady crew failed to revive Meadows before taking his body to Dutch Harbor.
