D.C. wins $4 million judgment against 'ghost gun' parts maker

Summary by Ground News
Washington, D.C., Attorney General Karl Racine (D) announced Thursday his office has won a $4 million court judgment against ghost gun maker and distributor Polymer80. Racine filed the lawsuit against Polymer 80 in 2020, alleging that the gun manufacturer illegally advertised and sold untraceable firearms to city residents. Polymer80, one of the largest manufacturers of ghost guns in the U.S., was permanently barred from selling unserialized, untraceable firearms to D.C. residents. The company was also ordered to pay more than $4 million in penalties for making false claims about the legality of its products.
