According to the court in Leeuwarden, there is too little legal and convincing evidence against Sanil B. 27-year-old Carlo Heuvelman was assaulted in Mallorca in 2021, resulting in death.
Today, the court of appeal in Leeuwarden will give its verdict in the higher appeal in the so-called Mallorca case. A prison sentence of 10 years is demanded against the main suspect Sanil B. (21). B. himself says he is not responsible for the fatal staircase that cost the life of the 27-year-old Carlo Heuvelman. His lawyer speaks of a 'judicial error'.
