Coroner IDs Woman Who Died in Jump From Stearns Wharf

The Santa Barbara County Coroner’s Bureau has identified the woman who died after reportedly jumping off Stearns Wharf on Sept. 3.  Raquel Zick of the Sheriff’s Office said the woman’s name is Susan Vaughn, 64, of Santa Barbara.Coroner’s Bureau staff are investigating the cause and manner of death; “however, this death does not appear suspicious,” Zick said.Around 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 3, Santa Barbara police officers responded to a water rescue c…
