On Tuesday 18 November, the Congolese Head of State, Denis Sassou Nguesso, launched the construction of a museum of history at the Loango site, on the Atlantic coast, north of Pointe-Noire. This place is full of history: between the 16th and 19th centuries, at least three million people were boarded there. The stated aim is to reconcile young people with history and boost tourism.
