NORTH CAROLINA, (WWAY) — The District Attorney’s office says a man will spend more than 18 years in prison, following a chase across three counties that ended in a large drug bust. 43-year-old Deron Blanks was sentenced today. He is scheduled to serve between 18 and 24 years. He was also given a 500 hundred thousand dollar fine.
