Coast Guard responds to natural gas well leak in South Lafourche swamp

A natural gas well is leaking in a southern Lafourche Parish swamp, according to local officials.  The leak is coming from a well located about 3 miles southeast of Golden Meadow, on the eastern end of Bayou Lafourche. The well is owned by Castex Energy, a Houston company, according to state Rep. Joe Orgeron, R-Golden Meadow.
