Chicago Civil Rights Groups Call On U.S. Senate To Pass Voting Rights Legislation

Summary by Ground News
The holiday came a day before the Senate returns to debate what is expected to be a doomed effort to pass the legislation. The legislation proposed in the Senate would combine two separate bills already passed by the House. The bills, among other changes, aim to nullify restrictions imposed in Republican-led states.
