Business proposes to increase both corporate tax and VAT by 1 percentage point each, and to allocate their revenues only to defense

Some businesses would agree to a 1 percentage point increase in corporate income tax if the same amount was added to the value-added tax (VAT), and this additional revenue would be allocated to defense. However, both business representatives and some opposition politicians believe that this revenue would go not to defense, but to local government and the implementation of the Government's program.
