At around 1:50pm on the 11th, a truck driver called 110 to report that he had collided with a bus on a prefectural road in Suzenji, Yamaguchi City. According to Yamaguchi Minami Police Station and the city, the bus overturned and five children from a certified childcare facility who were on board were rushed to the hospital. None of them were in any danger of dying. The accident occurred at a cross-section with no traffic lights.
