STL’s Own Sterling K. Brown Earns Emmy Nod for 'Paradise'

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, JUL 16 – Black women make up the majority of nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, with 25.5% of acting nominations awarded to actors of color, amid ongoing industry challenges.

St. Louis native Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Sterling K. Brown has earned a “Best Actor in a Drama Series” 2025 Primetime Emmy nomination for his leading role in the Hulu Network hit “Paradise.”  Brown’s name was called amongst a diverse list of nominees on Tuesday morning.
