Apple TV+'s 'Lucky' Episodes 1 & 2 Recap: Betrayal Changes Everything as Anya Taylor-Joy’s Thriller Begins With a Bang

- Unlike her recent action role in 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga', Taylor-Joy described her performance as "sloppy" rather than "slick," telling The Hollywood Reporter "It feels wonderful" to spend seven hours with these characters.
- The show features Drew Starkey as Anderson's husband and Annette Bening as mob boss Priscilla; following today's two-episode debut, Apple will release remaining installments weekly on Wednesdays through the August 19 finale.
- Currently viewed as a limited series, the production could continue, as author Stapley is writing a follow-up novel set in the same world.
