Allstate selling Deerfield headquarters for $232 million

The Allstate Corp. said it's selling its corporate headquarters in Deerfield to Dermody Properties of Reno, Nevada, for approximately $232 million. The insurance giant (NYSE: ALL) announced last month it would sell the headquarters because more employees were working remotely because of Covid-19. "Allstate is selling the property as employees have more choice about where they work and many are choosing to work from home.
