The Basque Government's Department of Health has been made aware, through the Coordinated Rapid Information Exchange System (SCIRI), of an alert notification sent by the health authorities of Navarre regarding the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in mixed matured cheese made with raw sheep and cow milk from the brands Beiardi, Agort, Udabe and Eroski, with different batches and expiration dates.
The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has warned this Thursday of the presence of 'Listeria monocytogenes' in some specimens of matured blend cheese made with raw milk of sheep and cow from the brands 'Beiardi', 'Agort', 'Udabe' and 'Eroski', with different batches and expiry dates, which have been distributed at least in the Basque Country, Navarre, Castile-La Mancha and Aragon.
